Nature of Business
Faith Gate is a portal for complete religious resources where one can buy religious products and books and information on churches. This site is for those religious organizations interested in selling their video and audio Sermons via DVD-on-Demand, having their own Shopping Cart and MA.

Issues Faced
The basic motivation of the application is to be a single religious spot where one can buy religious products in the US Marketplace. During the development process, we have to integrate the site with the Third Party from where the DVD was produced through a DVD production server. This required the synchronization of both the database via their designed sync tool. We were also asked to ingrate the huge database of Ingram which is the single source for Books, music and many products. After discussion with client, we brainstormed and provided the solution for both the above challenges.

Remedies
Keeping the requirements and the need of user-friendliness in mind, the application is developed which is totally database driven. The heart of the application is its' robust and secured admin control one super user (System Administrator). After having a detailed discussion with client and understanding the purpose of application as well as its target audience, the application is being developed that suffice all possible needs of the client.

• Integration with INGRAM Business to Business Integration Group
• Integration with DVD Production Server (DVDemand provides solutions for DVD- on-Demand production using its proprietary fulfillment server system called DVDGenerator)

We employed Microsoft's .NET technology: - ASP.NET for developing the application. The complete solution comprised of the following:

• JAVASCRIPT
• SQL Server 2000

To maintain the proper development and a complete track of project right from analysis to deployment we are exploiting the proper usage of following modeling tools:

• MS Visio
• Allfusion Erwin

Application is initiated with an intention of providing utmost user friendliness to the user/administrator to manage the site respectively. Application is completely database/admin controlled. It also caters various utility functioning like E-Newsletter, integration of third party databases etc. Keeping the religious nature of the site, it also has listing of Churches and their customized web pages and donations to churches and Charities. Also you can see the complete Bible Dictionary, Bible Encyclopedia and E-Bible which was created by its own Engine. From this site one can buy the religious E-Cards also. Through this site one can buy the tickets for any Events happening in USA and see the Event Webcast online also.
